“Ayur Arogya Saukhyam” are the three very powerful words in Sanskrit to bless someone, which means, Wishing "Live long with good health and happy life". Ayur is a Sanskrit word, meaning Life, and Aid means Help. Our vision is to help communities with Lifeskills (LifeAid or AyurAid) similar to First Aid.

Health education is one of the strategies for promoting health and disease prevention in any community, especially rural communities. There is a growing demand to educate people with life skills to help them deal with their basic health education to deal with day-to-day life challenges with informed healthy choices. Demonstrating its effectiveness, significance, and value, life skills have become a major part of many intervention programs around the globe.

Health promotion is important in rural areas of any country, because people living in rural areas, have higher levels of chronic disease and lower access to health services, and are exposed to higher levels of a health risk than people who live in major cities, they have much to gain from an increased emphasis on health promotion and illness prevention.

Health promotion is the process of enabling people to increase control over the determinants of their health and thereby improve their health status. Health promotion goes beyond the promotion of healthy lifestyles of individuals to encompass the creation of social, environmental, political, and economic environments that are supportive of good health. Health promotion and illness prevention programs can have a population-wide focus (eg the fluoridation of drinking water or road safety regulations)

Two founders co-founded AyurAid with their passion for promoting Life skills training where needed with a heavy focus in rural areas. AyurAid is a non-profit organization, we are looking for like-minded volunteers to join the board as we have different positions open and we need help to promote and spread awareness about Lifeskills plus raise donations for AyurAid operations.

All life skills programs aim to serve the same purpose, which is to help individuals overcome challenges and grow into healthy human beings in a community. This is a problem, especially in a rural setting.

Rural communities all over the world are often referred to as marginalized groups in the development process. Among the problems facing these communities are physical factors such as isolation, being far from facilities, services, and infrastructure. A wide range of skills is the key to solving this problem. A sustainable approach to education for rural communities and life-skills education for men and women in rural areas.
